Athena, twenty-seven and having just taken on an official role in Nemean News after years of nonprofit work, couldn’t help but think that Artemis’s latest interview was some sort of personal attack. Why else would she have decided to make a negative comment to the press about Nemean News, now of all times? Artemis didn’t care about monopolies.

Full of righteous indignation at this obvious slight, she stormed from Xenios Estate across the city to Artemis’s flat. The entire elevator ride up, she paced back and forth, planning out exactly what she was going to say. How she was going to insist that Artemis couldn’t make comments that damaged her reputation and their father’s. She had a whole speech. It was great.

But when Artemis opened the door to her place, all she could do was wave the magazine (containing the offending interview in question) and ask, “Artemis! What the hell is this?! Dad’s gonna kill you!”
